| Casa Dragones limited-edition tequila by Gabriel Orozco Posted: 07 Dec 2012 07:24 PM PST  The Mexican tequila brand, Casa Dragones and renowned artist Gabriel Orozco have collaborated to produce a limited-edition bottle adorned with one of the artist's most iconic works of art. The collaboration comes in honour of Orozco's 2011 retrospective tour held in four leading museums throughout 2011, from MoMA in New York City, Kunstmuseum in Basel, Switzerland, Tate Modern in London, to Centre Pompidou in Paris. The partnership centres around Orozco's 'Black Kites' piece, a human skull that is covered in an intricate graphic checkerboard. Each one of the 400 crystal bottles are engraved with Gabriel Orozco's Black Kites motif, and includes Orozco's signature. Black Kites, 1997 is a human skull covered in an intricate graphic checkerboard, representing the two sides of life that are constantly at odds; the grid represents rationality and the skull represents uncertainty.
